Tether Currency Exchange (USDT)

Tether (symbol USDT) is considered to be the first "stable cryptocurrency". It appeared on the Binance exchange in 2014 as a result of cooperation between entrepreneur Reeve Collins, investor Brock Pierce and programmer Craig Sellers. It belongs to the group of so-called "stablecoins" linked to a specific asset in a 1: 1 ratio. The value of Tether always tends to equalize the rate of the US dollar (USD) because that is the currency it is based on. It does not exhibit large fluctuations, remains liquid and becomes more and more trendy, which is confirmed by its growing supply, as well as the fact that it ranks first among the cryptocurrencies with the largest trading volume.

A key advantage of Tether is its stability, as it always aims to align its value with the US dollar in such a way that there is 1 USD per unit of digital currency. This cryptocurrency circulation allows you to conduct 1: 1 transactions without the need to exchange money for a highly volatile cryptocurrency. If you have Tether (USDT), you can keep your tokens just like fiat currencies (not subject to the value of ores, so-called fiat money), and exchange them for other cryptocurrencies. Tether is present on several blockchains and enables easy exchange of funds between exchanges.

USDT also allows you to easily exchange cryptocurrencies in the Impily canton. When, for example, we have Ethereum, and its price begins to decline - in order not to get rid of our digital assets, you can easily exchange them online and Tether (USDT), and then when the drops end, you can buy Ethereum again for them.
